They added two more runs in the inning as junior Emma Coolidge and senior Chelsie English both scored on senior Jessa Lohr reached on error to give Wellsboro a 4-0.

Wellsboro’s next 4 runs came in the 2nd. After a lead off walk by sophomore Jordyn Abernathy and a reach on error by senior Jena Boyce but runners on the corners, Abernathy stole home during a Coolidge at bat. Boyce and Cooldge would both score during English’s at bat then she later scored on base hit by Lohr.

Coudersport scored 3 in the top of the 3rd to make it a 8-4, but the Lady Hornets added a run in the bottom half by Abernathy to push the lead back to 5.

Wellsboro’s offense exploded for 5 runs in the bottom of the 4th. After loading the bases with two walks and a base hit Clymer drew a walk to score sophomore Dresden Del Rio. Jena Boyce reached on error during the next at bat to score both sophomore Alyssa Bisbing and junior Olivia Servatius. Clymer later scored on a wild pitch and Boyce scored again as English hit a sac fly to left.

Coudersport scored a run in in the top of the 5th to make it 14-6. The Lady Hornets then scored twice in the bottom half of the inning to enact the 10-run rule. Lohr led off the inning with a walk and sophomore Rylie Boyce doubled to center to put runners on the corners. Junior Abbye Cavanaugh reached on an error to score Lohr then Boyce scored as Abernathy hit into a fielder’s choice.

The Lady Hornets only had six hits on the afternoon, one each by Clymer, Bisbing, Lohr, Jena Boyce, Rylie Boyce and Abernathy. Clymer, Lohr and English all had 3-RBI days.
