We will be having our Labor Day work weekend 4-7 September 2015. Come join us for a day or several, preparing the Preserve for our visiting wounded veterans. If you can’t make it maybe you can help prepare a meal for the many volunteers that will be at the Preserve over the Labor Day weekend. Our projects will include carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, cleaning, wood cutting, tree stand maintenance, trail clearing, weeding, equipment maintenance, electrical work, cooking and serving our volunteers.

For those coming from out of town please let me know if you need a place to sleep and will you be bringing your own camper or tent. We’ll also need a meal count for the days you will be working. Don’t worry we’ll have some fun at the end of the day shooting long distance(bring your favorite gun), destroying clay pigeons at our new trap range or just wetting a line at our stocked pond. There will also be time to tell stories at the nightly campfire where Kelly Fisher will custom cook your marshmallows.
