Inside MU Psychology

by Paige Chester - April 6, 2015

Mansfield University offers over 50 majors, so what makes Psychology one of the top choices? Today, Dr. Nicolle Mayo, a professor of Psychology specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, gives insight into what makes this major so unique. She highlights some of the more popular classes, such as Psychological Positivity, and explicates on their importance. Dr. Mayo offers advice to high school students who are considering pursuing a degree in Psychology. Dr. Mayo also makes an exciting announcement pertaining to an upcoming feature on Wellsboro Home Page.

Then, Lauren Davenport, a senior who is studying Psychology with a concentration in Human Resource Management, reflects on her time at Mansfield University. Lauren shares about her experience as a Psychology major, and then discusses her hopes for the future. Lauren also comments on her favorite classes, Research Methods. We hope that you will find today’s broadcast both interesting and informative. Thanks for joining us today on Wellsboro Home Page.
