Hundreds Show For Little League Opening Day
WELLSBORO — On Saturday, April 22 hundreds of children and their families paraded down Main Street in Wellsboro to celebrate Little League Opening Day!
Following the parade, the Little Leaguers gathered at the fields on Charleston Road for an opening ceremony and to play ball!
“I actually got pretty emotional seeing all the kids spread out on the field,” said Wellsboro Little League President Brianne Coolidge. “It’s just incredible to see. We put so much time in behind the scenes with all of their names…seeing it all come to fruition…has been so, so fun today.”
