Hundreds Attend Senior Expo & Sister Jenny Awarded
On Friday, August 4 the annual Senior Expo was held at Wellsboro Area High School.
The expo presented an opportunity for senior citizens in the region to meet with federal, state and local government agencies alongside private and public organizations to gather information and learn about services.
“It’s very exciting for them to get great information from wonderful people that participate in this Senior Expo,” said former PA state representative Matt Baker. Baker was instrumental in the event’s inception during his time in office.
During the expo, Sister Jenny Boley was recognized for her many years of service and compassionate heart for the community.
