Horsemanship at the Tioga County Fair
Home Page cameras captured six 4-H youth enjoying their horses in the ring at the Tioga County Fairgrounds. They are as follows: Maranda riding Merle, Lili riding Lady, Landyn riding Deuce, Ella riding Rain, Macy riding Whisper and Alex riding Peaches.
Ella Weiskopff is the President of the newly formed 4-H club here locally. She is also the first alternate for the 2023 Tioga County Fair Queen. She began riding three years ago, and now she is riding Rain. She stated that these decisions helped her step out of her comfort zone. And she is glad that she made those decisions. Stepping in front of the Home Page cameras was another place of growth.
Today is Family Day at the fair which means that (activities start at 10:00 am) free admission for 11 years and under and $4.00 for unlimited amusement rides for children 36 inches and over.
