Heart of Tioga To Hold Fundraiser Banquet
On Saturday, October 15th at 5:00 p.m., the Heart of Tioga invites you to join them for their Worth More Than Gold 2nd Annual Fundraiser Banquet, at the Church of the New Covenant 310 Extension St in Mansfield.
Michael Geer, the keynote speaker for the banquet, is the founding President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Family Institute. He joined me in the studio to share his thoughts on the importance of supporting pregnancy resource centers. He said,” It is the ministry that really shows your neighbors and the community at large number one that you care. Women who are facing crisis pregnancies or unexpectant pregnancies have the help that they need. Abortion is not a choice that they should be forced into making or think that it is going to solve their problems.”
At the banquet, Michael said that he would be sharing thoughts about Pennsylvania and America after Roe versus Wade was overturned. He will discuss what pro-life advocates can do to protect life in the womb. He continued his thoughts by saying. ” The political engagement, the policy engagement is vitally important as well as in terms of advancing the sanctity of life because honestly, our laws teach the culture how to behave. If we can’t have pro-life laws that protect all life from conception until natural death, we are going to be teaching people bad things, not good things.”
