Healthy Hydration with Pure Wild Teas

by Sara Vogt - July 5, 2023

Keep reading to learn how to win a six-pack of Pure Wild Teas!

This family carries a legacy of tea brewing…with simple, natural and delicious ingredients! Do you own a small business? We want to hear your story!

During the Laurel Festival, Sherry Furhmann, owner of Pure Wild Teas, came to the Tree of Life Natural Foods to give out samples of her teas. While there, she spoke with me about her tea-making history and the products she sells at the store.

Sherry wrote on her website, ‘I grew up as a fifth-generation child drinking meadow mint tea. As a child, my mother gave me a basket and scissors to hunt wild tea along the creeks, meadows, and woods. My mother would boil water, steep the wild mint tea leaves, add sugar and let it cool. She would serve this drink to guests when they visited and cold in the hot hay fields.’

After losing her mother to cancer at 48, she decided to preserve many of the family traditions she was taught and pass them on to her children. This tea-making was a way to honor her grandmother and mother. So now, the sixth generation is continuing to make this wonderful tea!

Today this delicious, refreshing organic mint tea has only three ingredients: water, mint tea leaves, and real sugar! They still cut the leaves by hand, which are then taken to the processing room, never dried. The leaves are grown wild without fertilizers or pesticides. The different teas are Lemon Balm, Apple Mint, Strawberry Mint, Chocolate Mint, Anise Hyssop, and Rootbeer Rooibos. They now have sugar-free tea too! (Please watch the video for the entire list and learn some benefits you receive from drinking them!)

We have tried the tea at the Home Page Network, so I asked her to interview so you would find out about this wonderful way to hydrate too!

Stay tuned for our Facebook post to have an opportunity to win a six-pack of pure wild tea! If you are not on Facebook, e-mail me at sara@thehomepagenetwork.com. and tell me why you would like to win! The winner will be sent a gift certificate for the six-pack for Tree of Life Natural foods where you will pick out your selection. The teas need to be refrigerated at all times to keep them fresh.
