From Sumatra to Java to…Hospital – Andrew’s Journey Ends
This is the final video documenting my visit to Indonesia. Our last week in the country was spent visiting areas of Sumatra, including Cinta Damai, Lake Toba, and Samosir before departing from Jakarta on the island of Java.
It was truly a blessing and honor to meet my friend Gio’s family and have dinner with them. They so graciously demonstrated the kindness and generosity of Indonesia.
Sadly, my last few days in the country were spent recovering from dysentery, but the hospital staff in Jakarta, alongside my mom and Gio, took great care of me. I thank God I was surrounded by incredible people, and I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity.
