Window shoppers stroll up and down the sidewalks of Main Street, gazing at the beautiful lights, decorations, and winter-themed items that the stores have on display. Bethany Hawn, owner of Bethany’s Jewelry and Design, makes window displays a key part of her business. It begins with a simple sketch, as she carefully plans and maps out her ideas. Once the idea is set, she focuses on bringing it to life! Some items are specially created, some are repurposed from prior windows, and some are purchased new. Bethany is very blessed to have a husband who help brings her ideas to life by building backdrops or hunting down trees for her displays!

Her window displays have ranged from bright, happy, bee-themed windows to frozen igloos to spooky haunted forests, or Bethany’s favorite – budding secret gardens!

Jewelry for the window is carefully selected based on color, style, season, and gemstone. Some gemstones cannot be exposed to constant sunlight, so all of this is taken into consideration when choosing the perfect pieces for the display.
