First Friday at the Circus!
Hello everyone and welcome to Wellsboro Home Page! It’s that time again! Come one, come all…and step right up- It’s First Friday! Below is a list of some of the sweet deals and fun that you can expect to see on Friday! Check them out!
Garrisons will be having a lot of their items on sale!
The Red Skillet will be featuring their First Friday special – $2 fries with any sandwich, and their crab cake sandwich!
The Fifth Season will have many different activities for the kids, a clown photo booth, refreshments, and of course their summer clearance sales.
Veronica Callahan will bring the Wellsboro High School Band from band camp, and they will be playing in front of the United Methodist Church on the lawn. Members of the Penn York Highlanders pipe band will be playing right in front of Mountain Home Magazine. James States, a local potter will be helping kids make some pots out of clay on Crafton Street to demonstrate his art and give anyone, young or old, a chance to play in the mud and learn about the potter’s wheel. He’ll also have some finished pieces for sale. County Commissioner, Rodger Bunn will be giving away free hotdogs for everyone on 19 Crafton Street.
Wild Asaph Outfitters will have an end of Summer clearance sale, which will feature all summer clothing at a discounted price of 30%.
Subway is hosting a family fun night, offering any 3 foot-long subs for $17, as well as a coloring contest with prizes for kids!
Grubby’s Games is having a game of Mario Kart 8 and any players get to draw out of the prize bowl.
Cafe 1905 is giving $3 off grande Frappuccinos.
Pop’s Culture Shoppe will be having their game night, music on the front steps, a representative from Big Brothers Big Sisters, and you can also learn how to juggle. If customers purchase any juggling materials, 30% of those proceeds will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tioga County.
The Penn Wells Hotel is featuring new happy hour specials including Wellsboro House Winken Blinken and Nod IPA which is $4 for a pint. They will also be featuring their pork barbeque sliders, 3 for $5.
Johnny’z Hot Rod Café is gearing up for Chris Kilmer to perform outside of the restaurant, they will be serving their Kuda Fuel which is a sriracha shrimp grilled flatbread sandwich as well as a Humber Pig which is a bourbon barbeque pulled pork sandwich with cheddar jack cheese!
Peggy’s Candy will be offering $1 cotton candy with pink, vanilla, blue raspberry and maple. A new flavor of fudge will be making its debut – penuche, which is like a maple butterscotch swirl.
Seniors Creations will be serving some cupcakes, samples and fun!
“Play me. I’m Yours!” Yes! The pianos are out on the street again! It doesn’t matter if you can play Chopsticks, Heart and Soul or a Chopin etude. Sit down and play! Thank you, Hamilton-Gibson!
