On Wednesday, June 5th, First Citizens Community Bank (FCCB) hosted the 25th annual Cancer Classic golf outing at Corey Creek Golf Club in Mansfield.

The event saw 35 teams with 140 players participating, raising significant funds for cancer research and patient support. Over the past 24 years, they have raised over $300,000.

“The Cancer Classic has meant the world to FCCB,” said CEO & President of FCCB, Randy Black. “It’s impacted our FCCB family, unfortunately. And me personally, through my immediate family. Whatever we can do to raise money for this great cause and to fight this disease…is an important mission for us. It’s a tremendous event…we have a full field of players and they’re here for one reason – and that’s to fight cancer.”
