On Saturday, March 7th, the 9th annual Casey L. Patrick Basketball game was held. This event, in honor of the late Casey L. Patrick, a former student of Wellsboro Area High School, raises money for a student scholarship and to support the school’s basketball teams.

This year was an overwhelming success as the event raised $1,507.35, plus an added $475.15 from sponsors donations for a total of $1984.50. A sum of $661.50 will go to each team and the scholarship fund. The scholarship fund received an additional $1,905.00 in direct donations. The Patrick family extends sincere gratitude to everyone who made this game a success.
