COVID-19 Update From Rep. Clint Owlett
Representative Clint Owlett joins us today for a quick update on several topics. His office is closed to floor traffic, but keeping very busy with handling citizen questions and concerns.
Rep. Owlett says there are zero-percent three-year term business loans through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania now available to small businesses impacted by the Coronavirus challenge.
The House was back in session this week in Harrisburg. Clint gives us an update on education and covers funding, transportation, and teaching changes with the challenge of COVID-19.
Rep. Owlett says that the Pennsylvania Primary scheduled for April 28th is in the process of being moved to June 2nd.
Clint also discusses the potential problems associated with the mass exodus from NY and other hot spots. Rep. Owlett has an important message for those who are coming here to Tioga County.
We also discuss the latest essential business list that was put out by Governor Tom Wolf’s office.
Rep. Owlett says that Tioga County as established a very robust task force for dealing with COVID-19 and that we are ready.
