Steuben County, NY total positive cases = 230

NY Dept of Health report COVID-19 cases by county.

Wednesday, May 13 — Tioga County has now logged 13 consecutive days with no new COVID-19 cases. In the Northcentral PA counties, the latest combined daily case count is 16. This follows three days of much lower numbers. While the numbers fluctuate, the overall two-week trend in this region is now more or less flat.

Four nearby NY counties, which are on full shutdown, together logged six cases yesterday. These and some other counties in NY State are due to begin a phased re-opening this Friday.

COVID-19 often has a relatively long incubation period. Experts say it may take two or three weeks before any impact of changes in social and economic activity can be assessed.
