Community Advocates For Better Service From Frontier Communications
Many customers of Frontier Communications in the area feel as though they have had less than satisfactory service. As internet is a necessity for most residents, it can often feel as though internet service providers, like Frontier, is taking advantage – when high speed bandwidth is promised and not delivered for the fee that’s being charged.
Back in January, both Representative Clint Owlett and Tina Pickett made a response to an announcement by the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate (OCA) and Office of Small Business Advocate (OSBA) that they had filed a formal joint complaint against Frontier Communications for its failure to provide reliable service to customers.
At that time, nearly 350 people returned compliant forms, giving the evidence needed to pursue a formal complaint against the company. The PA Public Utility Commission (PUC) then scheduled four public input hearings to gather formal comments from customers frustrated with Frontier’s poor service. The hearings took place in Wellsboro (June 6), Towanda (June 7) and Tunkhannock (June 8).
Area residents and business owners who have experienced service issues with Frontier to fill out a form that may be used as evidence by OCA to file a formal complaint against the company. The form is available for download on either representative’s website, www.RepPickett.com or www.RepOwlett.com.
