Today’s broadcast is designed to let you know about a very special event taking place on February 29th at the historic Penn Wells Hotel on Main Street in Wellsboro. It’s the Wedding Open House! And, it will take all the stress of planning your wedding and turn it into a great big ball of fun and excitement. Did you know that planning your wedding can be a joyful experience?

It’s true, there’s a lot to be done – like locating the perfect place for your wedding. What about the flowers and your hair? Thank-you gifts for the guests are a nice touch. Let’s not forget the dress and the tuxes!

At the Wedding Open House on February 29th you’ll be able to speak with a host of wedding services. The Wedding Open House at the Penn Wells Hotel can aid in taking the travel out of your planning. They also offer the perfect spot to host your reception. The Penn Wells will be displaying their beautiful dining room and offering samples from their special wedding menus. The Penn Wells offers a number of fantastic touches to help you celebrate your special day such as complimentary rooms for the wedding couple with a reception of over 100 guests, complimentary parking, a well-staffed event and fantastic menu options that you’ll absolutely love!

Several Door Prizes will be available at the event, including an engagement photo session with Danielle Barden worth $250. Only guests who pre-register will be entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize which will include a stay in the King Bed Fireplace Suite at the Penn Wells Lodge, a wine basket donated by Canyon Country Cabs, and a gift from Dunham’s Department Store.
