In recent years the Troy Trojans football team has taken great pride in running the football. Gifted running backs have come through the program but leading the way for them have been some outstanding lineman. Mason Imbt truly fits that bill. Following in his brother Jack’s footsteps Mason has terrorized apposing teams throughout the NTL and District 4 since his ninth grade season.

This year as a senior Mason received All-State honors as a defensive lineman as well as other awards. He will look to take his football skills to the collegiate field next season.

Mason also helped lead his basketball team to a district 4 championship and into the state tournament. He used his power under the basket to fight for rebounds and threw in some finesse sinking shots from the foul line.

Craig Route from Coaches Corner sat down with Mason recently to discuss basketball, football, the weight room, and his future plans. Watch the video to get the ins and outs of who has helped him along his journey thus far.
