C&N Announces Support for Customers and Businesses
WELLSBORO, PA – C&N (NASDAQ: CZNC), today announced the immediate implementation of special support to alleviate the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the resulting impact on its customers and communities.

The bank is offering specific solutions designed to address the financial burden facing many customers at this time. Special, limited-time assistance programs available to customers impacted by COVID-19 include:
- Loan payment assistance for mortgages and consumer loans include:
- 90-day interest-only payment options
- 90-day payment deferral options
- Temporary suspension of new foreclosures and new repossessions
- Assistance to cover necessities and living expenses: unsecured personal loan up to $7,500 for 36 months at 2.99% APR (subject to credit approval)
- Commercial & small business assistance:
- 90-day interest-only payment options
- Payment deferral options
- Lines of credit for working capital necessary to sustain business during this crisis
- C&N is working with clients to participate in government lending programs that may provide disaster relief assistance, including those developed by the Small Business Administration (SBA)
- Consumer Banking:
- ATM inquiry fees charged by C&N will be waived for C&N customers through April 30, 2020
- Mobile deposit fees will be waived through April 30, 2020
- Phone transfer fees will be waived through April 30, 2020
Keeping customers and team members safe and well remains a priority. The bank is delivering its services through drive-up windows, ATMs, its Client Care Center and telephone and digital banking services. To visit a C&N office in person, customers are asked to call ahead to schedule an appointment. This will help manage and control the number of people who come in close contact with one another at any given time.
C&N is also putting actions in place to sustain a healthy workforce, including:
- Offering alternative work practices, such as working in shifts, placing greater distances between employees and remote, work-from-home options
- Requiring employees to stay home if they are ill
- Reminding the team about good hygiene and thorough hand washing practices
- Encouraging virtual medical diagnoses to help employees avoid care facilities for basic needs
- Increasing cleaning and sanitization of office spaces and surfaces
- Providing additional leave with pay for certain circumstances, including parents of school-age children to help them as they put in place new care solutions
- Providing disposable gloves
- Discontinuing non-essential business travel, large events and meetings
- Providing tools to conduct meetings remotely through telephone and online channels
