Celebrating Small Town Christmas!
It’s small town Christmas season! And here at the Home Page Network we love to celebrate what our hometowns are doing to ring in the holidays. Today’s broadcast takes a look at some of the festive fun we’ve all been having.
On December 2, the Tioga County YMCA in Mansfield held their Community Christmas Party! There was a bounce house, so many fun games, coloring, face painting, photos with Santa and more!
Last weekend, December 8-11, visitors came from all over to enjoy the 1940’s inspired holiday event, Christmas on Main Street! There were horse drawn wagon rides, live nativity, Shiny Brite ornaments, glass artists, festive fashion, and of course – Christmas shopping at our local shops! Milliner Christine Moore also gave away a gorgeous fascinator. Congratulations Katie! Lastly, the community came together to enjoy a free night of music and dancing with Starliters Big Band!
On Sunday, December 11, New Covenant Academy held a special Christmas Concert at Holiday Alliance in Middlebury Center.
The Blossburg community also celebrated the holidays this past weekend. There were arts and crafts for the kids, all kinds of delicious food, street vendors, a parade of colorfully decorated trucks strung up with Christmas lights, and sales all along Main Street!
We hope you enjoy this special season with friends and family and thanks for watching the Home Page Network.
