Canton First Graders Display Creativity With “Grandpa’s Whiskers” Project
Canton Elementary’s first grade class participated in an exciting and unique project coordinated by the elementary specials teachers. Each class got to come up with their own verse to “Grandpa’s Whiskers” in music, write reasons why they love their grandpas in library, draw pictures of their grandpa or one of their role models in art, and participate in a fun parachute routine to “Grandpa’s Whiskers” in gym. These kids had a blast taking part in this project. It was such a fun way to combine all the specials, and the specials teachers did an amazing job putting it together for the students to enjoy.
