Canton baseball falls to Wyalusing, in D4 Semis
The Canton Warrior varsity baseball team faced off against Wyalusing in the District IV semi-finals on Wednesday, May 24.
Wyalusing got off to a fast start, scoring two runs in the first inning and two more in the third to take a 4-0 lead.
Canton’s Hayden Ward put the Warriors on the board as he drove in Zack Colton with a single, making the score 4-1.
The Warriors made some noise in the seventh inning. Wyalusing tried to pick off Brenen Taylor at third, but the ball was overthrown and Taylor scored.
But Wyalusing closed it out 4-2, ending the Warriors season and run at the District title.
