From apples to oranges, and just about every fruit and vegetable in between, there’s a business in Wellsboro that brings fresh produce to our community every week. Brown’s Produce is located at 111 West Avenue in Wellsboro, and open Tuesday through Sunday.

The business is owned by Matt Brown and first opened its doors in November of 2023. Brown’s Produce offers a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and other produce sourced from the Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market on a weekly basis. Owner, Matt Brown, travels to the market every Sunday to meticulously scout the freshest and best-looking fruit to bring back.

In addition to produce, the store also sells homemade goods from several local producers, including honey, maple syrup, farm-fresh eggs and milk, Painterland Sisters yogurt, breads and baked goods.
