On Thursday May 25th, the students at Don Gill Elementary were able to meet a real superhero – Landon Tengwall. Offensive lineman for the Penn State Nittany Lions and President of Uplifting Athletes for Penn State chapter, Landon made time to visit both Charlotte Lappla and Don Gill Elementary schools. There he spent time in the classrooms meeting students, signing various items, and posing in class pictures.

The staff and faculty showed their support and appreciation for the lineman by dressing up in blue or their favorite Penn State memorabilia. To conclude the day, the entire student body of Don Gill assembled to listen to Landon read a few pages of his book, “The Men Up Front,” written in collaboration with his family.
