Troy High School Concert Choir takes Carnegie Hall NYC
The Senior High Concert Choir has been invited to perform in Carnegie Hall NYC on January 15th as part of the 15th Annual Performing Arts Educators Invitational! There are 16 schools from Pennsylvania, including Mansfield University, opening the path for them to participate.
The students have been rehearsing diligently and seeking input from their choir director, Mrs. Sydney MacDonald. This opportunity will likely be a life-long memory for the students, and many of them expressed their excitement for the event.
You can also be a part of this performance as they have been given 200 plus seats to sell to friends, family and community supporters. The cost is $50 a seat for the performance, and they are working on coordinating a bus to get there. You can contact any choir member or Mrs. MacDonald directly here: smacdonald@troyareasd.org. They are also taking donations.
