In early June we announced that the uplisting of our common stock to the Nasdaq Capital Market was approved. With the opening of the market on June 3, 2022, our shares became publicly traded under our ticker symbol CZFS.

Members of our Corporate Board and Management Team headed to Times Square to ring the closing bell on September 6, 2022. The iconic bell ringing ceremony at Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square represents an enormous opportunity to showcase our company and celebrate our achievements and milestones before a global audience.

Why Uplist?

Before the move to Nasdaq, our shares were simply traded between competing broker-dealers instead of trading through a centralized exchange, like Nasdaq. This method of trading is referred to as an Over-the-Counter market. In financial markets, uplisting refers to the practice of elevating a company from having its stock listed on an alternative trading platform (such as the OTC Market) to a major stock exchange like the Nasdaq.

One benefit of moving to a bigger exchange is that our stock is essentially moving up the “stock market food chain” as a result of our company’s growth and success, and our stock is more easily exchanged. This offers us greater visibility and the opportunity for larger investors to become shareholders. Such investors can play a key role in the growing value of our stock over time. Additionally, companies that uplist are generally seen as more growth-oriented.
