As COVID-19 cases start to decline in many regions of the commonwealth, the discussion starts to shift to one of recovery while simultaneously continuing to control the spread of the disease.

Gentleman, thank you very much for talking with us today. It’s very encouraging to hear that at the State, County and Local level is keeping a weather eye on the positive changes ahead.
As the Task Force has always said, Community Means Everyone and here in Tioga County, we all did our share of the heavy lift to protect our county.
While we are not done just yet, there is a light starting to flicker ahead.
May 8th is just a couple weeks away and now is not the time to take our foot off the gas. We’ve done very well up to this point, so let’s continue to stay the course.
While we remain in the Red Phase, please adhere to all the requirement. Stay at home unless you need to leave for life sustaining reasons. If you must leave, wear a mask over your face and nose. Avoid gatherings and following the social distancing requirements.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but we still need your help while we transition.
