County Welcomes New Wardens
Representative Clint Owlett who is a member of the Game and Fish Committee, hosted a lunch on Friday, March 1st for Tioga County Law Enforcement as they welcomed two new Pennsylvania State Game Wardens. Thomas Nelson and Michael Smith are now officially serving Tioga County. County officials and officers from around the region were present to welcome our new wardens.
On today’s broadcast The Home Page Network Vice President, Sara Vogt, talks with State Representative Clint Oweltt and Pennsylvania State Game Commission Land Management Group Supervisor Rodney Mee about the event and the welcome extended to Officers Nelson and Smith.
The welcoming was held at the Army National Guard Readiness Center and all law enforcement agencies were invited. Former State Policeman Scott Henry was the key speaker. Special thanks to the Wellsboro High School Culinary Arts Class for providing the lunch and Sandy Johnson for the delicious cake.
Representative Owlett said that at some point in the future they hope to hold a similar meet and greet for the general public giving us all the opportunity to meet our newest Game Wardens. Please check PA State Representative Clint Owlett’s Facebook page for details.
On behalf of all of us here at The Home Page Network, we also extend a warm welcome to officers Thomas Nelson and Michael Smith.
