Wellsboro Homecoming 2018
This past week was Homecoming Week in the Wellsboro Area School District.
There were so many fun events and activities happening!
On Wednesday afternoon the Wellsboro girls played in a Powder Puff football game. And in the evening the high school hosted a carnival for the community to enjoy!
On Thursday, the students gathered together as freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors faced off in a friendly competition of Family Feud.
On Friday, the school held their annual pep rally! During the rally, Wellsboro Area High School announced their agriculture program received a $10,000 grant from the Monsanto Foundation as nominated by the local Webster family. Congratulations, ag-students!
After the Pep Rally, our community gathered downtown for the big parade.
The festivities finally ended with a victorious win on the Football Field and with the crowning of the King and Queen during halftime. Holden Kennedy was named the 2018 king, and McKenna Knowlden was crowned this year’s queen.
