5K Trail Run to Support Local Pregnancy Center

by Johanna Vogt - July 29, 2021

The Heart of Tioga Trail Run is coming up on Saturday, August 21st, at 9 am. The run will take place at His Thousand Hills and consists of a 5k trail in which individuals can walk or run to support Heart of Tioga Pregnancy and Parenting Support. Any age group can sign up; however, this trail is not stroller friendly. Prizes will be awarded to each of the age groups and the first-place winner.

Individuals can register both on the day of the race or online at www.runsignup.com, searching for “Heart of Tioga.” Registration in person begins at 7:30 am. For those who would like to volunteer, Heart of Tioga is looking for helpers in registration, direction, and other tasks for the day.

For all participants and volunteers, breakfast will be provided after the run. The first 100 registrations will receive a free t-shirt. Those who want more information about the race or would like to volunteer can contact Brianna Thompson at 570-250-6129 or visit their website at https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/Wellsboro/HeartofTiogaTrailRun. Heart of Tioga is accepting additional donations on the day of the race.
