The 51st Annual Antique Show
The 51st annual St. Paul’s antique show and sale is coming. Home Page had the chance to speak with Reverend Canon Gregory P. Hinton of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and local antique dealer Marge Wetherbee about the show.
There will be 13 dealers with various items for sale. Both guests agreed that the event is very much like a family reunion each year, with many long-time dealers and customers returning and reuniting. “The ladies and gentlemen from the church are very nice.” stated Wetherbee. “We’re treated quite well.”
The dealers are served a homemade ham dinner on Friday night. Volunteers help to set up and tear down for the dealers. There is also a raffle, featuring prizes like a beautiful handmade quilt, basket, small table and more. Lunch is also available at a minimal cost. The show will be held Saturday, October 4 from 10:00am – 3:30pm. There is an admission fee of $3. (Discount cards can be found at Etc. Antique Station in Wellsboro.)
