Join HAVEN of Tioga County for its first annual Spring Gala on Saturday, April 28, at the Deane Center in Wellsboro.

The evening of music and dancing kicks off at 7 p.m. The admission price of $50 per couple and $30 per individual includes hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and a cash bar. Food will be provided by Timeless Destination and music will be by Prestige Worldwide. Akiko’s Floral Arts is providing flowers to be raffled off at the end of the evening.

All proceeds benefit HAVEN, which provides free and confidential services including counseling, legal advocacy, safety planning, children’s services, relocation assistance, and more for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Tioga County.

“As a nonprofit, HAVEN of Tioga County depends heavily on support from the community,” said Daisy Jelliff-Bennett, HAVEN board member and event organizer. “We provide many services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault right here in our area, completely free and confidential. We cannot do this without your help.”
