Cooking with Dad – Chili with Added Value

by Jason Wilson - March 10, 2017

Ingredients:

2 lbs of ground beef
2 8oz cans of sweet corn
2 8oz cans of black beans
1 8oz can of light or dark kidney beans
1 8oz can of diced tomatoes
12 oz of salsa (choose the salsa of your liking)
12 oz of salsa con queso
6 carrots cut into half inch pieces (added value)
3 small onions, diced

Directions:

Place your beans, tomatoes, salsa, corn, onions and carrots in the slow cooker.

Brown the ground beef and then add it in with the other ingredients in the crockpot. Stir all the contents together.

Place your crockpot on low for about 8 hours.

After 8 hours your chili will be ready and you can serve it over a bed of brown rice, or eat it as is with a warm Hawaiian roll.
