Writer, Artist & Crafters’ Spotlight

by Melissa Bravo - December 15, 2017

Spotlighting the creative minds and hands of our community is a passion here at Home Page. In our writer, artist and crafters’ spotlight we hope we can help them share their stories.

Our guest today is Anne Bishop who writes under the pen name C.C. Farmer.

Watch today’s feature to find out what her alias ‘C.C. Farmer’ stands for.

Who is Anne Bishop? Anne is a local dairy farmer’s wife with four gifted children and a natural talent for creativity. In addition to volunteering with the Tioga County Dairy Promotion, Dairy Princess Pageant and church events she is involved in Hamilton Gibson productions here in Wellsboro. Anne has expanded her creative writing muse to Asian dramas, books and music. She is also a member of the Romance Writers of America through the Central Pennsylvania Romance Writers.

On today’s broadcast we are shining the spotlight on a children’s coloring and poetic chap book Anne created in 2017 as a result of a publishing challenge thrown down by her fellow writers in the 77 Pearl Street Writers Group.

Her booklet, ‘Pastoral Vinaigrette’ is available at ‘From My Shelf Books’. Anne will be at the bookstore on January 20th for her Author Birthday Bash. She can also be reached at ccfarmer4u@gmail.com or find her on Facebook.

We hope you’ve enjoyed our local author introduction. Please join us again in the near future when we shine the spotlight on another local writer.
