Wizard of Oz – Musical Preview!

Follow the yellow brick road - this weekend!

by Home Page Staff - February 6, 2020

Don your ruby slippers and follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Wellsboro High School Auditorium this weekend as Rock L. Butler Middle School performs The Wizard of Oz. Local students will be bringing the classic musical film to life on stage as directed by Heather Ladd.

“This year the audience can expect a lot of awesome sets, a lot of great energy from the kids and a fun, family show that hopefully everybody has a little idea of how it goes,” said director Ladd.

“My favorite part of doing this musical is watching everyone grow as their character and learning more about their character,” said student actress, Hannalee Cleveland, who will be portraying the Wicked Witch of the West.

Showtimes for the performance are as follows:
Friday, February 7 at 7:00pm
Saturday, February 8 at 7:00pm
Sunday, February 9 at 3:00pm

Cost of admission is $5.00 per person.
