It was like a 60’s reunion at Wellsboro Senior High School Gym and Commons this past Monday, October 27th!
Hundreds of senior citizens packed the event — eager to learn more about senior resources, housing options, medical information, and much more.
Former State Representative Matt Baker and our current State Representative Clint Owlett shared what’s so special about the event. “It’s a team that puts it on together, but then you also have our vendors. We have over 80 vendors that are here today, so all of them coming out- a special thank you to those folks.”
2024-2025 Maple Ambassador Jaylin Butler gave us the scoop on her favorite way to use maple products, saying, “My favorite way to use maple products is in ice cream. I love putting maple syrup on any kind of ice cream. That’s my favorite.”
This event is hosted annually by Pennsylvania State Representative Clint Owlett. It’s always free and open to seniors, their family members, and caregivers. Nearly 80 exhibitors provided information on various programs and services during this year’s event. We look forward to seeing all of our Seniors again next year at the Senior Expo.
