Wellsboro Home Page 2.0 – Teaser 2

New features & more - coming January 5, 2015!

by John Vogt, Sara Vogt - December 30, 2014

In 2004 we moved back home to beautiful Wellsboro, Pennsylvania after operating Seven Locks Broadcasting, Inc, for 25 years in the Nation’s Capital area. We brought with us some ideas about new media and a desire to serve the people we love.

Then in 2008 we began to seriously explore the possibilities of what has become Wellsboro Home Page. But the bandwidth was not there and computers were still slow in Tioga County. We decided to put things on the shelf and wait. During this time we increased our video services at Vogt Media and learned more about what it would take to produce a higher-end video product for broadcasting on the web.

Then in 2010 we decided to go for it. After three years of building studios and offices, looking for key staff members, purchasing equipment, and trying our best to design a clean and easy-to-navigate new media website we launched Wellsboro Home Page on January 6, 2014.

Our top priorities from the very beginning have been to provide you with a great new media service, to give the people of our region a voice, to serve and promote our business establishments and to do our best to influence our community for good.

We had no idea if you would like us or use our services. When we launched on January 6th we were hoping for 1,000 viewers by the end of the month. You all surprised us with over 13,000 visits in just three weeks. And with millions of Facebook impressions since then, you have turned our lives upside down.

On January 5, 2015 we will launch Wellsboro Home Page 2.0. We are making some important changes to provide you with a better service. Thank you for the honor and privilege of serving you through Wellsboro Home Page. We also want to thank our Home Page family of advertisers. Wellsboro Home Page would not be possible without them. Please purchase from them whenever possible.

On behalf of all the staff here at Wellsboro Home Page we hope that you and your families have a joyful and prosperous New Year!
