The third annual Wellsboro Comic Con event took place last Saturday, August 10th – drawing over a thousand attendees into downtown Wellsboro. The event took place in and around the Deane Center for Performing Arts and featured a plethora of professional artists, comic book vendors, content creators, cosplayers, educational panels, games, prizes, and more.

“What I love about Wellsboro Comic Con is just the joyful atmosphere we can create for all ages,” said Anja Stam of Pop’s Culture Shoppe. “Everyone is absorbing something different – whether it’s the panels and conversions, or dressing up, or talking to artists, or finding something at the vendors – there’s something for everyone. I love seeing the joy that the whole community brings.”
