Wellsboro Blasts Back to 1980’s In Support of Town Pool
On Friday, March 21 the Packer Park Boosters hosted “What About 80s Prom!” – a fundraising event with proceeds going towards upcoming renovations for the Packer Park Pool. The evening included hors d’oeuvres, raffles, dancing and 80’s cover band “Ostrich Hat.” And of course everyone in attendance came dressed in their best 80’s era attire! Director of Wellsboro Parks & Recreation Brian Kennedy shared what this event means to him and the community.
