Wellsboro Area High School Holds Baccalaureate Service

by Andrew Moore - June 10, 2022

On Wednesday, June 8 Wellsboro Area High School held a Baccalaureate Service for the Class of 2022.

The evening began with a class processional and Regan Regina sang the National Anthem. President of the Class of 2022 Madeline Bryant welcomed everyone to the service and introduced the evening’s speakers and presentations.

Next, an invocation was given by Emma Brandenburg, followed by a student reading from Olivia English. Then the Wellsboro High School Dickens Choir, directed by Mr. Daniel Sensenig, performed “Earth Song.” Mr. Sensenig remained on the stage following the song to address the Class of the 2022.

Following the faculty speaker, Seth English presented a student reflection. Next, the keynote speaker for the service was Jason Gehman. Following Mr. Gehman, the choir took the stage again to perform “River In Judea.” This was followed by a memorium and moment of silence for classmate Sophia Campbell, – presented by Brianna Smith.

Mikaella Pasada, from the Class of 2023, bade farewell to the seniors. Finally, the evening concluded with a benediction by Giuliana Keeth.

Congratulations to the Class of 2022 on your many accomplishments and future endeavors. We know you’ll make us all proud.
