Welcome to Warriors Central!
Canton Area School District is welcoming some new faces.
Brandie Frye has been working with the school district for 5 years, but in December of 2022 she became the Secretary to the Superintendent.
“I’ve really enjoyed being here, and to have the opportunity to be able to work a little bit more behind the scenes supporting the staff and the school itself is just a really great opportunity for me,” said Frye. “Everyone here is very supportive of the school and its students. To be able to work with them is probably my favorite thing.”
Jordan Adams and Megan Palmer are also among the new hires. Adams joined the team as school security officer late last year, while Palmer came on board as a school social worker in December.
“Working with the elementary school kids [has been] fantastic,” said Adams.
“I have definitely enjoyed working with all of the students, K-12 as well as the faculty here,” said Palmer.
Tyler Sechrist’s first day teaching full-time as the new business teacher was November 1 of 2022. Sechrist is also the Canton Warriors football coach.
Nicole Coxhead took on the position of computer science teacher in December of last year. She was previously involved with school as a substitute teacher.
Brianna Ward has joined the team as secretary to the principal as of January 16, 2023.
Sierra Stanley began her position as Elementary School secretary in mid-September of 2022.
Lucy Chamberlain was also hired in September as the Elementary art teacher.
