HORNETS SHUTOUT PANTHERS, 32-0
4 years ago first year head coach Matt Hildebrand went undefeated in the regular season. 4 years later he accomplished the same feat.
Prior to Hildebrand taking the helm, the Hornets were coming off a four year slump where they won a combined 11 games after qualifying for their first trip to District IV playoffs in 2008. Four years later, Hildebrand has flipped the script and has rattled off 38 wins and turned the Hornets into an NTL powerhouse and District IV champions.

MOTHER RUNS TO SUPPORT DAUGHTER
Every year, more than 50,000 people run in the world’s largest and most popular marathon – The TCS New York City Marathon. WNEP’s Ryan Leckey leads a campaign called “WNEP’s Ryan’s Run.” This campaign has been organized to raise money for Allied Services, a program to help those with disabilities and chronic illnesses overcome their challenges to reach their goals. To support WNEP’s Ryan’s Run, Baker Tilly sends a representative each year to run in the TCS New York City Marathon.
This year, the representative is Laura Robson, a 36-year old paraprofessional at Baker Tilly in Wellsboro. Her 7-year old daughter, Jordis, unexpectedly suffered a stroke before she was born, leaving her with hemiplegia cerebral palsy. Because of this, she has had to endure physical and occupational therapy, balance issues, hand braces, and leg braces. Despite these difficulties, Jordis is determined to overcome these challenges. She has gone from barely being able to walk, to now being named the fastest runner in her class. Through these achievements and her incredible perseverance, Jordis has inspired her mother to train for the TCS New York City Marathon on November 5, 2016.

MOVIN’ TOGETHER – TAKE A TIME OUT
Our desire for this feature is to encourage women of all ages to step back, and as the expression goes, ‘take time to smell the roses.’
Are you one of those women who feel overwhelmed? Are you wondering how you will be able to take a time out? I know from personal experience that we, as women, never seem to have the time to get it ALL done. Take housework for example; ok, that is a story for another day.

AG SPOTLIGHT – HOME INVADERS (Pt. 2)
Today’s feature is a quick reminder on home invaders – the creepy crawly kind.
Harmonia axyridis – Asian lady bugs:
If you keep track of these things, you might be on the lookout for the return of the ‘lady bugs’. These multi-colored Asian ladybugs swarm into our homes in October after the first frost. So step outside and take a look around- BECAUSE THEY’RE BACK.
Halyomorpha halys – Stink bugs:
A relatively new invader, the easily recognized armored stink bug has been pestering home owners the last 16 years in Pennsylvania and well, that just stinks. Since they are also hibernation seekers they exhibit the same annoying behavior of the Asian lady bugs. Uninvited house guests indeed!
Parasteatoda tepidariorum – Common house spiders:
This Michigan fact sheet on common spiders in and around the home is a great resource for identifying different types of spiders. The good news is, “Spiders very rarely bite people and far less than is generally assumed”. Regular housecleaning is very important in the control of spiders indoors. Large, persistent spider populations indoors indicate the presence of a significant insect population that serves as their food.
