EMMF BRINGS THE HOUSE DOWN!
Recordings are wonderful but nothing compares to the full, rich, audio and visual expression of live music. EMMF Conductor and Music Director Stephen Gunzenhauser applauded the audience after Friday evening’s performance. He said that the audience was feeding back into the energy of the orchestra. This is one of the components that makes the live experience unique and unforgettable. There is so much more energy than you can ever experience listing to a recording. If you have not yet attended a live Endless Mountain Music Festival concert we encourage you to do so. You will not be disappointed. There is nothing like live!

THE GRUBCAST – THE HERO PLUMBER
Today on The GrubCast – meet a character who’s appeared in over 200 video games since his creation, has starred in a series that has sold over 210 million units and is currently the best-selling video game franchise of all time. Today we’re talking about the one and only mustache-wearing Italian plumber hero – Mario!

Mario first appeared in the 1981 Nintendo arcade game titled Donkey Kong. The game was originally going to feature the characters Popeye, Bluto and Olive Oyl, but Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto wasn’t able to acquire the license to use those characters. Therefore, Miyamoto created Jumpman (later known as Mario)!
