The Canton Warriors fall varsity athletes have been busy preparing for a new season of competition in 2025. Each team held preseason training during the week or two leading up to the start of school, and each athlete brings their own talents, goals, and ambitions to the table.
Canton volleyball’s final record in 2024 was 12 wins, 11 losses, and 1 draw. The Lady Warriors finished third in their conference with a record of 5-4. Head coach Jackie Thompson hopes to lead the Lady Warriors up the ladder this year with the help of a more seasoned roster.

Canton cross country had a strong showing last season, with Lawrence Halbfoerster even coming in fourth in District IV and 37th in state competition. This year, head coach Casey Aylesworth hopes the team can rally together and achieve their personal goals.

Canton football came out of 2024 with an overall record of 5 and 6. The team had two conference wins in the season, which were against North Penn-Mansfield and Wellsoro. This year, head coach Tyler Sechrist and the team have their eyes set on a rematch or two in their hunt for a winning record.

Of course, Canton football’s home games would not have the same electric atmosphere without the football cheer program. Canton’s football cheerleaders have been hard at work practicing their routines to rally the warriors and razz their rivals.
Football cheer isn’t the only cheer in town, and Canton’s competition cheer program is gearing up for an exciting season of events.
