WARRIORS CENTRAL: GINGERBREAD HOUSES
As the holiday season approaches, fourth graders at Canton Area Elementary School got to express their unique way of decorating their very own gingerbread houses in class, a tradition many years in the making. Fourth grade teacher Mrs. Stimson stated, “In the past, we had previously done them in fifth grade; a lot of our children- their parents actually did them [in fourth grade] so it’s pretty cool. A lot of memories were brought back, so the kids are having a great time making gingerbread houses, and hopefully their parents will enjoy them as part of their family tradition and decorations in their house.”
Canton Elementary Principal Mr. Lucas Bailey, Superintendent Dr. Amy Martell, and School Resource Officer Deputy Murrelle even joined in on the fun!
