WARRIORS CENTRAL: CONSERVATION DAY

by Dr. Amy Martell - May 20, 2025

THANK YOU, FFA!
Fourth grade students in the Canton Elementary School enjoyed conservation day on May 15th. There were a variety of activities and stations to explore including the Pennsylvania Woodmobile, energy conservation, and petting zoo. The petting zoo featured twin goats and their mother as well as a young clydesdale horse that the student enjoyed learning about. They explored digestive systems at this station. The students put on boots and waded into the water to catch and learn about macro-invertebrates and crayfish in the local creek. The students from the high school and FFA had fun teaching the fourth graders all about conservation day at Canton Elementary School.
