WARRIORS CENTRAL: BACCALAUREATE
Last Thursday, May 29th, the Canton class of 2025 held its annual Baccalaureate Service for the graduating seniors, their families, and the community. It was an impactful evening full of blessings, important lessons, beautiful voices and prayer, sponsored by the Canton Area Network of Ministers.
Reverend Duane Taylor warmly welcomed the guests and opened with a powerful prayer over the graduates, followed by Adrianna Yellenic reading Matthew 11:28-30.
Choir students Gwendolyn Wile, Kiara Stone, Gabe Blaney and Manuel Halbfoerster then sang “One Voice,” written by Ruth Moody.
Tyler Engel read James 3:13-18, followed by guest speaker Peter Ferreri, whose wise words conveyed the power of choices.
Taran Bellows performed “Friends” by Michael W. Smith and Kendall Kitchen read 1 Corinthians 15:58.
Cindy Yellenic sang a beautiful rendition of “Forever Friends” written by Cloniger/Frizzell, soon followed by the closing words and prayer conducted by Pastor Jennifer Jones.
Thank you to Mrs. Brandy McRoberts, Mr. Randy Frye, the guest speakers, and all others who so graciously gave their time to make this evening possible.
