W.R. Croman Creates Core Memories During Annual Field Day
Students at W.R. Croman Elementary School spent a day having fun in the sun at Field Day on Monday, May 18th. A variety of stations were set up all across the lawn and inside the school gym, including a javelin throw, water relay, cup stacking, a giant parachute, relay races, and more fun activities.
“I feel like many people have core memories of the parachute, of using the scooters- so I’ve definitely incorporated both of those today, and some of our activities I used last year as well. This is only my second field day that I’ve done here, [it’s] my first year here full-time so still a learning experience, but I hope all the kids are having a great time burning a lot of energy and making some core memories that will last them for a long time,” Physical Education teacher Maggie Pratt stated.
Thank you to the faculty, staff, and volunteers who helped put together this day of outdoor fun and games.
