Students at W.R. Croman got to participate in Thanksgiving fun this past Tuesday. After enjoying a snack on the gym floor, the winners of the Thanksgiving feast tablecloth contest were announced: Mrs. Mitstifer’s Kindergarten class, Mrs. Coates’ 1st grade class, and Mrs. Ward’s 2nd grade class were runners-up, and Mrs. Kibbe’s 1st grade class and Mrs. Wright’s Kindergarten class won the grand prize. 2nd grade students then read poems and told jokes to the group. After that, the games began, starting with a turkey assembling contest, where even staff members got to join in on the fun. The day’s activities concluded with students sharing what they are thankful for with one another.
