Veterans Tribute Event Highlights
On November 7, the Wellsboro Senior Center sponsored a veterans tribute and luncheon at the Deane Center.
Veterans, families of veterans and people from the community gathered to share stories about serving our country. All of the branches of service including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard, were represented at the luncheon. Everyone had an opportunity to share their story and ask questions.
These hometown heroes shared many funny stories and some very humbling stories in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The gathering ended with a light lunch served by the Senior Center.
All of us at the Home Page Network would like to thank our service men and women for all they do.
